Life360 remains one of the best ways to keep track of your loved ones. But if you don't want someone else always knowing where you are, you may wonder if there is a way to cheat life 360.

Since this is an app that used GPS location to track devices in the circle, you may think that you can cheat by simply turning off GPS.

In this article, we will show you how you can cheat the Life360 app into thinking you are somewhere else and hence prevent being tracked.

Does Life360 Notify You When Location is Turned Off?

In Life360, you should be able to see the location of every member of the circle at all times, unless they turn off the app or log out of the app.

In this case, you will get a notification letting you know that their device is not connected to the internet or it has been turned off.

If their name has the status 'Background location off,' their phone may be in low-power mode or they've changed their phone's settings to save battery life. However, this usually means you won't be able to track them.

The 'Location permissions off' status indicates that the phone's GPS has been disabled in the Life360 settings.

If you disable location sharing in the phone settings, your location will display the message "Location Sharing Paused" on the map.

Finally, the 'No network or phone off' status indicates that they have turned off their phone or are out of range.

If you're concerned about your privacy and want to hide your Life360 location from anyone knowing, you can choose to spoof your location on Life360, which we will show you next.

This will give the impression that you are traveling from one location to another. Here's how to do it:

Step 1: In the upper right corner of the screen, select One-stop or Multi-stop mode.
