Since its launch in 2016, Pokémon GO has entertained millions of Pokemon fans. The game uses augmented reality to provide an immersive experience. Trainers can move in real-time and use their smartphone’s GPS to locate and catch Pokemon.

Pokémon GO lets players collect their favorite Pokemon across different locations and level them up with materials. Staying true to the tagline “Gotta Catch ‘Em All,” trainers can also complete their Pokemon collection while playing the game. While some Pokemon are easier to spot, others spawn rarely.

One of the fan-favorites is Feebas. If you are on the lookout for this Pokemon, you’ve come to the right place. We have compiled a step-by-step guide on where to find Feebas in Pokémon GO.

What is Feebas in Pokémon GO

What is Feebas in Pokémon GO

Feebas is a water-type Pokemon that looks like an old, withered fish and was first introduced in Generation 3. It has a light-brown body covered in dark, uneven spots. Its large, deep eyes and pink lips are the most prominent features of a Feebas’ appearance.

Due to its ugly appearance, most predators, researchers, and trainers tend to avoid Feebas. However, this strong and rugged Pokemon can survive anywhere and eat anything, making it easy for the Pokemon to stay alive in harsh conditions.

Feebas’ strong attacks include Tackle and Mirror Coat. Since it’s a highly adaptive Pokemon, the Feebas is resistant to steel, fire, water, and ice. On the other hand, it is vulnerable to grass and electricity-type attacks. Feebas has a maximum combat power of 274, an attack stat of 29, and a defense and stamina stat of 85.

But the best feature of Feebas is that it can evolve into the elegant and powerful Pokémon, Milotic. They were inspired by the classic tale of the Ugly Duckling. To evolve your Feebas, all you have to do is travel 20 kilometers with it as your buddy.

Where to Find Feebas

Since Feebas is a water-type Pokemon, it mostly spawns in oceans and weed-choked ponds. You can also find Feebas in places like beaches, docks, rivers, canals, and parks with water features. However, it can also survive in harsh conditions with very little water available.

Rainy weather also influences the spawn rate of Feebas, so make sure to be alert. Route 119 on the six fishing spots is another location where Feebas tend to spawn.

Walking in random locations and hoping for a Feebas to spawn is a tedious task. While you can use incense to increase the spawn rate of Feebas, there is another way to obtain it. You can travel to the nearest Feebas coordinates and catch it.

Here are some locations you can search:

  1. (40.76144,-73.90945) in Brooklyn, New York, the United States of America.
  2. (-33.90301,151.05303) in Rawson Road, New South Wales, Australia.
  3. (40.87716,-73.84028) in Bronx, New York, the United States of America.
  4. (1.30089,103.83993) beside Plaza Singapura, Singapore.
  5. (40.70730,-73.95438) in Brooklyn, New York, the United States of America.
  6. (-33.96073,151.09802) in Hurstville Oval, New South Wales, Australia.
  7. (1.30542,103.88323) in Marine Parade, Singapore.
  8. (49.12068,-123.09267) in Richmond, BC, Canada.
  9. (40.78000,-73.90898) in Queens, New York, the United States of America.
  10. (1.34089,103.70792) in Jurong West, Singapore.

Note: These locations will not guarantee a 100 percent Feebas spawn success as that depends on the current spawn rarity. But you will have a higher chance of finding a Feebas in one of these spots.

How to Get Feebas in Pokémon GO Without Moving

Finding out the spawn locations of Feebas is simple. However, traveling to those coordinates is another story. It can consume a lot of resources and time. It’s even more difficult if you do not reside in any of these locations.

Don’t worry, because there is an easy solution to this dilemma. You can use MockGo, an iOS location spoofing tool that allows you to virtually travel to any place without having to move physically.

MockGo enables you to customize your travel routes and movement speed to make your GPS movement believable. This helps prevent the game from catching on to your cheat. Moreover, the app is fine-tuned to ensure the complete privacy of your data.

To spoof your location using MockGo, follow the steps below:

Step 1. Download and install the software on your computer.

Step 2. Connect your device to the computer using a USB cable, and tap Trust This Computer on your device. Then type in your passcode when prompted.

Step 3. Once the map on MockGo loads up, select the Teleport Mode to change your GPS location.

Step 4. Type in one of the Feebas spawn coordinates into the search bar. Then, press the Go icon.

Step 5. After that, a sidebar will pop up with all the details including the place, name, coordinates, and distance. Click on Move Here.

This will change your device’s GPS location to the coordinates that you inputted. You can change your location and try out all the coordinates on the list above until you spot a Feebas. To revert to your original GPS location, simply reboot your device.

Now, to make your GPS movement seem more realistic, you can simulate your travel pattern and route on MockGo. This mode also comes in handy if you want to level up your Pokemon without physically traveling.

To simulate your GPS movement, follow the steps below:

  1. Once the map loads up, select the One-stop Mode or the Multi-stop Mode on the top right-hand corner.
  2. Type in the precise Feebas spawn coordinates in the search bar and click the Go icon.
  3. A sidebar will appear showing your current location, travel route, speed, destination, and more. You can customize anything from here.
  4. Once you are satisfied with the specifications, click Move Here.

Simulate the Multi-stop Movement

The app will simulate your movement towards the destination. The time and distance will change gradually until you virtually arrive at the destination.

You can also pause or stop your movement anytime you want. Once the journey is completed, the interface will notify you with a message saying Completed.

Note: You can also use the joystick to move more realistically across the map. This is more reliable since Pokémon GO will ban your account if it detects any location-changing app being used.

MockGo will also come in handy if you want to evolve Feebas into Milotic without moving physically. Just set any destination 20 kilometers away and relax while the app simulates your movement in the game.

How to Evolve Feebas in Pokémon GO

Apart from the 20 kilometers traveled, there are other important elements you have to consider to evolve Feebas in Pokémon GO.

As mentioned earlier in this guide, you can use incense coupled with a lure to increase the spawn rate of Pokemon, therefore, increasing the chances of catching a Feebas.

Note: You can capture other Pokemon in the vicinity to widen the area for a Feebas to spawn.

After catching a Feebas, the next most important thing to do is to obtain 100 Feebas candies. Make sure to use pinap berries to maximize candy gains per captured Feebas. In total, you will need 17 Feebas captures to obtain 100 Feebas candies using pinap berries.

Once you have the required number of candies, it's time to make Feebas your buddy to evolve it. To do that, follow the steps below:

  1. Tap on the Trainer icon to enter the player menu.
  2. Next, tap the Player Trainer.
  3. From the buddy menu, scroll and select Swap Buddies.
  4. Then select Feebas as your buddy.

Once that's done, it's time to begin your 20 km walk to evolve your Feebas into a Milotic.

There is no better feeling than adding a rare Pokemon to your collection. It's even better if you can add a Pokemon like Feebas, which can evolve into a super-strong Milotic.

Feebas spawn in a handful of locations, and traveling to those places is not always feasible. In such cases, you can use apps like MockGo to conveniently change your location virtually.

We hope you were able to find and add a Feebas to your Pokémon collection with this guide. Now, get walking!
