To connect your device via Wi-Fi, you'll need to connect it to the computer via USB cable for the first time.
Then, unlock your device and tap on Trust from the pop-up message on it.
When your device is successfully connected, disconnect it to go back to the home page of MockGo.
Step 2. Make Sure Your Device and Computer Are on the Same Wi-Fi Network
Turn on Wi-Fi on your iPhone and make sure your device and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Step 3. Set Your Device's Display as Never Auto-Lock
Next, you will need to set your device always on display for a stable WiFi connection. Here are the steps:
1. Open "Setting" on your device, scroll down and tap on "Display & Brightness."
2. Select the "Auto-Lock" option.
3. Select "Never."
Step 4. Select Wi-Fi Connection from the List
After that, go back to MockGo and click "Start"; a list will show on the screen. Choose the device you want to connect and then select the Wi-Fi connection option from the list.
If your device is not on the list, try the following steps:
Quit MockGo on your computer.
Toggle Wi-Fi off and on from your computer.
Reopen MockGo and try again.
Alternatively, toggle Wi-Fi off and on from your device and click the "Refresh" button on MockGo to try again.
Step 5. Wi-Fi Connected Successfully
Now, your device is connected via Wi-Fi successfully. You can use MockGo to change the GPS or simulate movement for your device as you want!
What to Do If the Wi-Fi Connection Icon Is Not Shown in the Device List:
Quit MockGo on your computer, then toggle Wi-Fi off and on from your computer. Open MockGo and try again.
Toggle Wi-Fi off and on from the settings on your device, click the "Refresh" button on the device list page, and try again.
Make sure your device and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Ensure your device's screen is always on.
Restart your device and try again.
Restart the program and try again.
What to Do If Your Device Fails to Connect via Wi-Fi:
If the Wi-Fi connection fails with errors like "failed to proceed," please connect your device via USB. After a successful USB connection, disconnect and try Wi-Fi again.
If the Wi-Fi connection fails with errors like "failed to proceed," click the "Retrigger pop-up" button to try again.
Quit MockGo and try again.
Restart your device and try again.
Restart the program and try again.
